Fondazione De Rigo H.E.ART Onlus at the forefront of gender equality

The project, promoted by the Salesians of Don Bosco in collaboration with the Associazione Amici di Adamitullo E.T.S., originates from the twinning between Padua and Addis Ababa and involves the creation of a school dedicated to training young women as company secretaries.
The facility, consisting of 20 all-female classrooms, is designed to provide participants with practical professional skills and greater opportunities for entering the workforce.

This initiative represents a tangible and valuable contribution in a context where women continue to face significant social and economic inequalities. Access to decent employment remains one of the main barriers to women’s independence.
The creation of the school not only fosters economic self-sufficiency among young women, but also promotes cultural change by strengthening the role of women within society.
