“Offering a Future” Project: the first children start attending kindergarten in Côte d’Ivoire

The Project

Thanks to the renovation of a large part of the building, starting from October 2022 around twenty children were able to return to classes in a suitable and dignified environment. The planned works were subsequently completed, including a second classroom to accommodate additional children, as well as the upgrading of outdoor spaces, sanitary facilities, the water well, and the dining area.

The project also included the construction of a third classroom, helping to support older children in their transition to primary school through the use of appropriate teaching materials and qualified staff.

Special thanks go to the CEY Foundation (Centre Educatif Yablassou), which, in collaboration with the Missionary Office of the Diocese of Belluno-Feltre, oversaw the development of the project.

Ensuring the right to education and schooling in vulnerable contexts is essential to creating concrete opportunities for the future.

For this reason, Fondazione De Rigo H.E.ART Onlus chose to support the “Offering a Future” project.
