Fondazione De Rigo H.E.ART Onlus and Fondazione Cervelli Ribelli Onlus together for neurodiversity

Anno: 2024
Fondazione De Rigo H.E.ART Onlus and Fondazione Cervelli Ribelli Onlus together for neurodiversity

The Project

The platform was created through the collaboration between the De Rigo family and Gianluca Nicoletti, journalist and father of Tommy, a young man with autism, as well as President of Fondazione Cervelli Ribelli Onlus, an organization committed to promoting the culture of neurodiversity. A shared project aimed at providing tangible support to families, young people, teachers, and practitioners.

A me gli occhi” is a digital platform that makes information about autism easily and immediately accessible, even prior to diagnosis. It offers free content for parents and caregivers, ranging from introductory guidance to more in-depth topics.

Sport and inclusion: a tangible resource

Among the initiatives introduced in 2024, the “Sport and Inclusion” section supports children and young people with autism in choosing and engaging in sports activities, involving families and instructors. Sport plays a key role in fostering inclusion, emotional well-being, and the development of concentration and independence skills.

The platform offers a free toolkit with clear and accessible infographics presenting a range of sports, along with practical guidance and answers to the most frequently asked questions from parents and practitioners. Covered sports include athletics, martial arts, basketball, football, dance, horse riding, swimming, rugby, fencing, and tennis. A practical and accessible resource designed to better understand and support the needs of children with autism. he platform offers a free toolkit with clear and accessible infographics presenting a range of sports, along with practical guidance and answers to the most frequently asked questions from parents and practitioners. A shared commitment

The platform includes training content developed with the contribution of professionals, with the aim of providing practical tools for families, teachers, and practitioners in the educational, social, and healthcare fields. “The ‘A me gli occhi’ project aims to offer a small but highly meaningful contribution: to provide a useful and tangible tool to strengthen knowledge in this area,” said Gianluca Nicoletti. “We are pleased to share the values of this project with Fondazione De Rigo H.E.ART. “Supporting those who support others has always been our mission,” said Barbara De Rigo. “We believe in the value of initiatives that promote inclusion and awareness. Young people are our future, and we all have a role to play in fostering a culture of diversity.”
