The Project

Ensuring access to education means offering the most vulnerable children a real opportunity to change their future. This is the commitment that drives Fondazione De Rigo H.E.ART ETS in supporting the “Come and See” project, promoted by Bosco Children in Addis Ababa, to guide street children on a path of growth, dignity, and reintegration into society.

A context of extreme vulnerability

In Addis Ababa, thousands of children live without a home, without points of reference, and without access to education. Exposed every day to violence, exploitation, and marginalization, they grow up without the opportunities needed to build their future.

A path that begins with trust

The "Come and See" program steps in at this crucial stage. Educators meet children directly on the streets, building trust and offering first access to essential services such as hot meals, healthcare, psychological support, and safe spaces. From there, a gradual journey begins, guiding them toward education, training, and, over time, greater independence.

An impact that shapes the future

The Foundation’s support helps reinforce the program, enabling an increasing number of children to leave the streets and begin a journey of growth, education, and dignity.
Investing in their education means opening new opportunities for their future and creating a positive impact within their communities.
